Kuna Crest, Tioga Meadows
Kuna Crest, Tioga Meadows
September, 2002

A lone pioneer stands vigil to an avalanche event long past, testifying to the resilience of nature in an otherwise harsh sub–alpine environment. I am often astonished at how little use the Tioga Meadows receive given their proximity to the trans-Sierra road (Ferdinand's admonishments aside).

Autumn, Tioga Meadows offers another, arguably more colorful, view of this splendid country.
